This tickled my fancy

I’ve read a number of stories by Roger Frank Selby and they’ve all made quite an impression on me. I know I can trust him to tickle my fancy and I wasn’t disappointed by this entertaining farmyard romp.
Although it’s a straightforward tale of bawdy behaviour down on the farm, there is a fair bit of psychological subtlety to it. The characters have some depth and, as the plot unfolds, they each change and grow in some way. The dialogue is expertly handled and the structure of the story is carefully planned, so that everything pops up or pops out at just the right moment, providing you with maximum entertainment.
It’s a very satisfying read, with some mouth-watering imagery that will please you in all sorts of ways. I’m pretty sure the author takes a lot of pleasure and pride in his work and rightly so. It’s a feel-good story with an upbeat ending that manages at the same time to touch upon some very ticklish subjects.
I’m looking forward to what he comes up with next.
I can also recommend his billiant story called Aviatrix which is available free on Roger’s website.
